List of cantatas not in the 1716–1717 cycle

[edit]
Feast Day TWV Number Title Sources Scoring Notes
Third day of Pentecost TWV 1:447 Ergeuss dich zur Salbung Voice, Vl, Bc
Michaelmas TWV 1:2222 Packe dich, gelähmter Drache Voice, Vl, Bc

It seems there is not a page for Telemann's cantatas that are not in the 1716 to 1717 cycle. I realized this after I had added two to the 1716 to 1717 table. I have moved them out into their own table for the moment. It makes more sense to either rename this page to include all cantatas or move the others into their own page(s). I'm just not a musicologist, so I'm not sure what makes the most sense.JECompton (talk) 16:40, 9 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I moved them here (i.e. to this talk page) then, for the time being. Currently they don't belong to this page. I don't think this should become a page of all of Telemann's cantatas (there are already other pages listing selections of Telemann cantatas, and a few others on individual cantatas by Telemann). So they should be on a new page (or pages) , with whatever appropriate name(s). --Francis Schonken (talk) 21:02, 9 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
