Moved
[edit]Moved talk from old pre-disambiguation article to Talk:Balisong
Changed article to Disambiguation Page
[edit]- The page is now a disambiguation page between Balisong and Butterfly Sword. This should settle things. -Object404 (talk) 12:25, 26 April 2014 (UTC)
- I have reverted it to text, with the other meaning as a hatlink. I have repaired the old cut-and-paste moves. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 15:28, 27 April 2014 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: oppose Anthony Appleyard (talk) 10:31, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
- And if so, first move the original Balisong to Balisong (disambiguation), with hatlink to it. Some people seem to want this move, so better discuss it properly. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 22:44, 27 April 2014 (UTC)
- Comment: "Butterfly knife" appears to be the common name, but I have no preference. However, either way, the primary use of "Balisong" is for the knife. Therefore, Balisong should point to the article with content about the knife no matter what (whether a redirect or the actual article depends on this RM). The article about the knife should have an additional hatnote to the disambiguation page, which should be at Balisong (disambiguation) no matter the results of this RM discussion. --Scott Alter (talk) 02:18, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose no rational provided to override the 2011 consensus (see the requested move further up the page). -- 65.94.171.206 (talk) 03:07, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose - "a butterfly knife" far outweighs "a balisong" in printed sources. In ictu oculi (talk) 01:18, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

Oh No...
[edit]I messed up. I made everything smaller when I was just trying to sign a comment I put on one of the sections. Apologies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:3113:8320:DCD8:C91D:85CC:451 (talk) 20:50, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

Please mention where this knife is popular on FPS games
[edit]CS:GO and Valorant butterfly knives have been popular in the gaming community, and we wanted recognition of where it came from Lucasthepogikid (talk) 05:30, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
