Should this be moved to "Brown ground mantis"?--Grahame (talk) 02:18, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, the genus should always be the title because the brown ground mantis may be refered to other species in other genera as well. ZooFari 17:01, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Grading

[edit]

This article needs a clean-up. For example, its title suggests it covers more than one species of the genus Bolbe, whereas most text refers to a single species. In this context, the abbreviation spp is unhelpul (use sp. for single species, spp. for plural). I'd suggest just using the word "species". Would help for the author to define the scope of the article and if nessecary, create a new page and direct from this one (ie, I agree with Grahame). The lead in then needs to be updated. Also, the references are not references and the in article links should be appropitely formatted to standard, rather than appear as a dsepaarte seciton. A section on basic ecology would be good. For the reason here-in, I graded this as a stub, but it could become a start reasonably quickly.Heds (talk) 02:47, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article has been rated as stub. The importance has been rated low, as it is a narrow article about a specific species. ZooFari 17:02, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
