[edit]On what basis is anything north of Bispham part of Blackpool? I live in Fleetwood and nobody I know would consider Fleetwood, Thornton or Cleveleys to be in any way related to Blackpool. We just happen to be near each other and share a tram system! --62.239.159.6 09:01, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
No one said it was part of Blackpool, Mr. Simple Servant. :) They said 'Greater Blackpool'... an urban area. Only as annoying as calling everything within 15 miles of Manchester 'Greater Manchester'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.176.105.138 (talk) 14:19, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
- It's based on what the Office of National Statistics defines the Blackpool Urban Area as, I have added a reference to the article to show this. Davewild 16:12, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
