Voting history and Have-nots tables

[edit]

Hi, does anyone mind doing the voting history and have-nots tables, thanks. --MSalmon (talk) 22:04, 5 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Mystery Houseguest alphabetical order by first name

[edit]

This may have been an accident, but I believe that the three Mystery HouseGuests need to be in alphabetical order by first name. I changed it from alphabetical order by last name to alphabetical order by first name, but it was changed back. Again, it may have been an accident. 216.39.200.85 (talk) 06:31, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Final HGs in the voting table.

[edit]

I'm assuming that it would be ideal to only put the actual HouseGuest that enters the game into the voting table. On the off chance that a consensus is reached to put all 3 in the voting table, the two that don't make it in would look something like this(cutting out most of the table for simplicities sake):

Week 1 Week 2 Week 3 Week 4 Week 5 Week 6 Week 7 Week 8 Week 9 Week 10 Eviction
votes
received
Finale
Secret HG 1 Not in
house
In War
Room
Secret HG 2 Not in
house
In War
Room
Evicted
(Day 15)
Secret HG 3 Not in
house
In War
Room
Evicted
(Day 15)

Seeing as how the American-style BBs have never had an intruder like this, I think it should match what BBUK and other series do when they have someone living next door (or in this case a secret room.) If anyone else has an opinion on this, please share.BlueDevil54 (talk) 00:28, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We don't include non-HouseGuests in the table (like Michael from [[Big Brother 14 (UK)] who was not a housemate]) --MSalmon (talk) 09:41, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, the closest example to this is Jonathan from BB7 UK. The way it is formatted in the above example is how the table should read. Additionally, Scott and Nate should be added into the infobox. T (talk) 02:21, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know, it just seems like a point was made that they were potential HouseGuests and never actually a part of the game. If they were to be included there entry would have to be on Day 8, with an exit on Day 15. That means we'd have to move Allison back to Day 8 as well. I might be getting too picky, but I made sure to pay attention to this part: Arisa never said Scott and Nate were evicted from the house/game. She basically just said "sorry, see ya later." I know things should be similar between international BBs, but with the American style being so different from the international style in some regards, I don't see the need to include them in the voting table or infobox. BlueDevil54 (talk) 21:34, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That is correct --MSalmon (talk) 22:05, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I just think they have to be included in the tables because we have to follow the standards, even it is an game with American style. Even they were not considered houseguests, they had a significant participation in the game. And we can not compare them with Michael Big Brother UK 14, it is a totally different case. The guy did not compete to enter the house, but was hired by Big Brother, since week 1, to be a mole and be withdrawn after the end of that week in the game. Adel's Power

[edit]

Should it be noted that Adel used his power he received from the Buzz-Worthy comp? As in the double eviction Adel used the power to remove Kenny from playing in the veto comp to ensure he was backdoored! (as shown in the Side Show episode with Kenny & Sara). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.138.180.140 (talk) 05:55, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • I watched the side-show myself, and I do not think Adel used his power... He went and got it, basically to use if nessesay, but I do not think it was used. If it was used I would expect to see it addressed in Sunday's show. --Jordan 1972 (talk) 13:33, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Watching the feeds this week, it appears he used it to swap Allison out and put himself in. I'd wait till Wednesday's show to put anything in the chart about it. I've been thinking of making a note abouut it for a while but haven't been able to decide where to put it. BlueDevil54 (talk) 03:24, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this page named incorrectly?

[edit]

The name of the show is 'Big Brother Canada' and that should be the name of the page as well. Why is Canada in parenthesis?Cebr1979 (talk) 03:42, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It follows the naming convention of the other regional Big Brother shows, such as (U.S.) and (UK). SystemHasFailed (talk) 07:57, 15 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Those shows are called 'Big Brother' though. No country name in the show title. Wikipedia is to be used as an encyclopedia and should be accurate. This page is not accurate if it doesn't even have the name of the show correct? Seems like a pretty juvenile error to me.Cebr1979 (talk) 02:44, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
This page falls under the Big Brother wiki project and as such follows the structure outlined within it. SystemHasFailed (talk) 06:17, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Allison in infobox

[edit]

Hi, whoever keeps changing Allison's entry day in the infobox to Day 8 is wrong because she was NOT a HouseGuest then, and it should be the day when she became a HouseGuest which was Day 15 (which is what the infobox is for). --MSalmon (talk) 08:27, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Was Allison's eviction last night (April 20) broadcast live? --MSalmon (talk) 08:58, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it was a live show, (mind I may be wrong) but I believe Allison's eviction happened either that night Arlie was evicted or the following day after Neda spent a while in the Secret War Room. But if I am correct non of the live shows are "live" pre-taped an hour or so before the episode airs! but like I said I may be wrong! But I am pretty sure Allison left either the night Arlie left or the next night! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.138.180.140 (talk) 10:38, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I think she left the same day (or maybe the next day) Neda was HoH --MSalmon (talk) 10:41, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Allison left the day after Arlie. Neda spent a whole night in the War Room to herself before Arisa announced the eviction to her. The show didn't give a Day # but watching feeds it was pretty clear it was the day after. BlueDevil54 (talk) 19:20, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Placings Section.

[edit]

Just random, but why is here a placings list at the bottom of the page? That's all determined in the main chart and the top of the page? Are all the other seasons of big brother (not just Canada) doing the same thing? I'm sorry, just seems uneeded and out of place. Just wondering: 216.104.99.158 (talk) 04:28, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It shouldn't be there and I have removed it. --MSalmon (talk) 09:04, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Neda (Canada's Vote)

[edit]

Does anyone know how Neda placed in Canada's vote? In a scenario where she would have been final two with Jon, who would have gotten the vote? I felt the show was a little quick, and should have revealed Arlie's and Adel's votes and also the percentages of Canada's vote. 86.62.132.215 (talk) 22:02, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Canada's vote

[edit]

I don't feel that placing Canada's vote in Kenny's row is the best idea. It's a totally different situation from BB11 US with Chima. She was originally meant to be a juror and was merely replaced by America due to her expulsion. Kenny was never considered to be Jury, and a quick glance at the table makes it look like his vote, or in place of his vote, of which it was neither. I think just the note under the table would suffice. --SnowyNight1234 (talk) 22:11, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with SnowyNight1234 so I have changed it, the note under the table will be fine --MSalmon (talk) 11:07, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
