Notability of the foundation

[edit]

Hi,

I saw that Chaffchaff added information about the foundation. There are some little things in the style and formatting that should be improved, but that's the simple part.

What's more important is to add secondary sources that assert this organization's notability as described in Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). Currently all the cited sources are either primary (the foundation's website) or are about Benji himself (all the rest).

It's OK if the sources are in Hebrew - i'll check them. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 11:42, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have added 8 secondary sources alltogether. They are mostly from Haaretz, Jerusalem Post, NRG , the Local Municipality and other accredited sources. I am sure you will agree that these are totally unbiased sources. I have also found links to major foundations (eg Shusterman) who have donated, but do not think this is something that is worth adding. Do you think that this article can now be written an accepted (not deleted) ? Thank you. --Chaffchaff (talk) 12:34, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Looks OK to me. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 15:06, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Amir - Please can you help me with the cleanup. I would like to get the article up to code and the delete sign removed. Thank you in advance. --Chaffchaff (talk) 19:39, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I started a cleanup. Done
Don't worry about the deletion tag - it will probably go away in a few days. According to the tradition in Wikipedia, you and i should not remove it ourselves, because we participated in the deletion discussion, but someone else will do it soon enough. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 21:00, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your help and guidance. I hope the deletion tag will indeed be removed soon. --Chaffchaff (talk) 22:04, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Surviving the AfD

[edit]

Congrats! Quick thoughts on the article though/a mini-peer review:

  • The intro needs to be longer, if possible. See WP: LEAD.
  • Also, be sure that the article conforms to WP:MoS.
    • Seocondarily, the article needs transitions between separate thoughts; think back to your high school English classes. =)
  • Good luck! the_ed17 00:30, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I will do my best. Thank you.--Chaffchaff (talk) 07:29, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you to everyone who assisted in getting this important (albeit short) article posted. --Chaffchaff (talk) 08:05, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you need any more help, just ask! Good day! the_ed17 15:49, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
