2nd paragraph needs editing for grammar and clarity. Right now it verges on gibberish. I'm not editing because I'm not sure what the writer is trying to say. (Anonymous)

I've added some notes and references to aid quivering lips twitch their way through. Nothing wrong with the grammar. --Wetman 07:53, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User:Pmanderson, who has not yet contributed a word to this article and has not yet evinced any interest in the subject whatsoever, applied a "POV" label to this article, with the edit summary "entirely conjecture; and not always the conjecture of these sources". This user has simply followed my edits here, applying his usual smear of "conjecture" broadly applied to my contributions to mythology articles, for lack of any concrete disputation of fact here, or of the broad mainstream interpretation the article represents. Similar Note the user's history: how much genuine contribution to mainspace do you see there? --Wetman 03:13, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

more explanation as to why the ancient egyptians elevated the bee

[edit]

68.188.203.251 (talk) 23:03, 2 September 2012 (UTC) Possibly due to its ability to pollinate; since the ancient Egyptians depended upon grain. Very old laws forbade the eating of fish. Honey ferments naturally with the addition of water. The shape of a natural bee comb is a beard. This info is from half a dozen or so books on bees. Hope there is interest in adding more substance as to why bees to the article since it appears that without pollination and honey most early civilizations would have gone extinct.[reply]

Hi

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. DRAGON BOOSTER 12:42, 20 December 2016 (UTC).[reply]

Heraldry footer?

[edit]

This page is linked at the bottom to the Heraldry footer, but there's not really any mention of heraldry on this page. Should it be removed, or is someone interested in adding some symbolism in heraldry to this page? Alarumclock (talk) 08:51, 30 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
