Serial no and msn
[edit]The serial numbers and msns don't seem to match any records of B-24 production. The Pacific wrecks website [1] gives the Serial nos of the ENGINES, one of which someone seems to have misunderstood as the Aircraft serial no. The msn given doesn't match either--Petebutt (talk) 16:20, 19 October 2013 (UTC)

Beautiful Betsy does not rate a mention in Australian Disasters.
The fact that the wreckage remained undiscovered for 49 years is significant. The fact that the plane still, in its wrecked state, exists is also significant. The fact that 6 Americans and 2 Brits died is also significant. It should be included. I have been to the wreck and it is a very solemn place. 58.107.90.231 (talk) 03:41, 22 July 2009 (UTC) |
