Title of composition

[edit]

I have also heard this piece referred to as Ode to Calpe, but haven't any references to corroborate it. If anyone manages to obtain such references, feel free to add it to the lead section. Chris.B 10:57, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Translation

[edit]

The first four paragraphs of the English version translate the entire German version as quoted, so the German version must be longer. Art LaPella 22:27, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well that's really got me baffled. The German version seems to be the same around the Internet, and this is the only English version I have managed to find. All I could say is that someone has been a little 'flowery' when translating to English! I will have a look in any case, perhaps there is a longer one which I've missed. Following this edit, it seems the translator was a Karl Grambow (not Grambon). The cited webpage no longer exists, so I'm going to remove that text. Michael Bednarek (talk) 03:02, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
An English translation has to be provided, surely... --Gibmetal 77talk 14:59, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Did you just volunteer? -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 02:25, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid I know no German whatsoever : ( --Gibmetal 77talk 11:50, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
