[edit]Not all Public Holidays are declared as Bank Holiday. Only some of the public holidays are declared as Holiday for Banks and other Financial Insitutions and the same is done by the State Governments in India and not the Central (Federal) Government. Bank Holidays and Public Holidays are different.
