Fair use rationale for Image:Austentayshus abctv.jpg
[edit]Image:Austentayshus abctv.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I've noticed that in the current article, and in its history under the revival heading, it is mentioned that Austen Tayshus has a life-time ban from channel 31. This may be a fact, but it is meaningless to the overwhelming majority of Australians. I have lived in Australia for more than 40 years and have not heard of channel 31 untill I read this article. Mentioning this banning seems to be an attempt at garnering more significance for Austen Tayshus than he deserves.
Austen Tayshus had a "hit" with "Australiana". After that he simply dissapeared from the mainstreem. There was no revival. He may have recieved a life-time ban from Channel 31, but that is as significant as him deciding to paint his toenails red instead of blue.

Highest selling 12" single ever.
[edit]At double platinum, this is far less successful than Thunderstruck or The Horses, both reaching 10x Platinum in the 1990s. https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/List_of_highest-certified_singles_in_Australia
Perhaps by the 1990/1 the proportion of 12" vinyl sales, rather than Cassette or CD sales would be lower, but that almost seems like an arbitrary distinction. 120.151.45.176 (talk) 06:02, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
