Neutrality of content and formatting

[edit]

Recent additions by Vincedumond may not follow the Wikipedia policy regarding maintaining a neutral view-point in articles as Vince Dumond (The likely creator of the account) is affiliated to the content he added to the article. (A Conflict of interest on his part.) I request that experienced editors go over this article to improve it, and recommend reading the Manual of Style guide to do so. Thanks. vıdıoman 04:08, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please be more specific in terms of exactly what you consider to be the non-neutral content in the context of this specific article. Many articles get templated as non npov and remain that way indefinitely, I'd like to see that not happen in this case, but you're going to have to be more precise, otherwise as far as I'm concerned the template should be removed or replaced with something more appropriate. cheers Deconstructhis (talk) 18:42, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Six months have passed since the template was placed and nothing more specific has been cited regarding the articles alleged lack of neutrality, I'm going to assume that the dispute is over and remove the template. If someone wishes to replace it, please discuss it here first. It's the only way that other editors have of determining what the actual problem is. cheers Deconstructhis (talk) 15:56, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removed content

[edit]

Although someone really should expand this article and reference the content regarding how very difficult the living conditions are in general in Attawapiskat, with special attention to poor health and the ongoing flooding issues, I found the language problem with the material added today was so bad that it was almost unreadable. Believe me, I don't want to discourage anyone from improving and expanding this article, but if the content being added can't be understood by a general reader of the encyclopedia, it's kind of pointless for it to be included in the article. I'd also like to remind other editors that Wikipedia should not be used for promotional purposes and it's not a good idea to include email addresses or "raw" url's in the body of an article. cheers Deconstructhis (talk) 20:39, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Housing Crisis

[edit]

This article is missing information about the 2011 housing crisis and what has lead up to it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.175.18.89 (talk) 02:15, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

De Beers information confusing

[edit]

There is reference to the Impact-Benefit Agreement signed, this is not listed in the timeline.

There is reference to protest in 2009 on the timeline, but no references are sighted. There is no indication as to this being a specific issue with the mine, or poverty in general.

I think the IBA should be added to the timeline, and unreferenced items improved or removed. 70.75.81.177 (talk) 04:57, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Histmerge

[edit]

This article seems to have been cut-and-paste moved from Attawapiskat, Ontario back in 2007. There's no overlapping edit history except the creation of a redirect here to that article title. 72.16.178.139 (talk) 20:40, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
