Artificial Plants

[edit]

This article says nothing about artificial plants. Please fix that. --IronMaidenRocks (talk) 06:08, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clay

[edit]

In the section headed "Clay", we read the following sentence:

With the help of cutters, where each flower has its own cutter set, the parts are cut from the still soft clay and then formed with specially designed tools.

In the phrase, "With the help of cutters", it is not clear whether "cutters" are people who cut or tools that cut. If they are "tools that cut", perhaps the best way to express it is:

"Using special metal cutters".

However, I hesitate to change it because I do not know what the writer intended and what actually occurs in the making of clay flowers. Perhaps someone who does know can fix this.CorinneSD (talk) 00:52, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Changing article

[edit]

Given that artificial plants of all types, and not just flowers are produced it would make sense to expand this article to include things like faux greenery, trees and food instead of creating new pages for all categories. --SpiritedMichelle (talk) 04:00, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
