Name change of the boat

[edit]

Why did they used the name Artania for the ship in 2011? Didn't that name belong to a three-stacker fictional steamship? Peekarica (talk) 17:08, 15 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

External links were added but removed by administrator for being commericial.

The link added was a ship tracking and information site that I found and would imagine that wiki users would appreciate. Additionally most other cruise ship pages include tracking links to commercial pages so I don't see why this one is any different.

The link added doesn't appear to be particularly commercial and I can find no evidence of selling on the site.

Edit undone. Spaceship Earth (talk) 17:40, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

COVID-19 pandemic

[edit]

it is hospital or hospitals? It seem the news reports says all sick tourist are treated in Joondalup Health Campus instead of multiple private hospitals. Matthew hk (talk) 09:47, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Owner

[edit]

Is offshore leak a reliable source? It seem Phoenix Reisen is a part-owner of "MS Artania Shipping" . https://offshoreleaks.icij.org/nodes/82009467 Matthew hk (talk) 13:52, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the ship left Australia on 18 April.

Where is this vessel going to?
The vessel departed from FREMANTLE, AU on 2020-04-18 13:28 LT (UTC +8) and is heading to MANILA, PH with reported Estimated Time of Arrival at 2020-04-30 12:00 LT (UTC +8) local time (in 2 days, 14 hours ) https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/shipid:371216/mmsi:311000608/imo:8201480/vessel:ARTANIA Peter K Burian (talk) 13:04, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Already reported by newspaper. Head to Indonesia, drop off crew, head to the Philippines , drop off crew. Matthew hk (talk) 01:15, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Despite marinetraffic.com now showing the ship is leaving Manlia , i think any new content regarding the ship should rely on citing secondary source such as media. Matthew hk (talk) 11:24, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, though I also think usually Wikipedia does not report day to day ship movements, so should be out.PrisonerB (talk) 14:02, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I just quick read this from google translate. https://www.schiffe-und-kreuzfahrten.de/news/ms-artania-ausschiffung-236-crewmitgliedern-in-manila-via-singapur-nach-bremerhaven/203199/ But this secondary source seem well sufficient on what is going on in Manila and where the ship is heading.
