The French article says he was born 31 October 1761. --Jim Henry (talk) 17:10, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Death?

He wasn't. 'He fell a victim to the gout.' ^[1] '[H]e was preparing to return in France when he died in Hamburg.' Neither contemporary nor modern sources have him shot. I suppose Kelly had the duc d'Aiguillon mixed up with the duc d'Enghien. Mapple (talk) 18:26, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
