" Archduke Joseph August of Austria married Princess Clothilde of Kohary, of the princely House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha's Hungarian branch, a descendant of high nobility of Hungarian realm. Clothilde was also a sister of the future King Fedinand I of Bulgaria. Clothilde was a daughter of August, Prince of Kohary and Clementine of France.
Of their daughters, Archduchess Dorotya married Philippe VIII, Duke of Orleans, French pretender; and Archduchess Margit married the Prince of Thurn and Taxis.
Their eldest son was Archduke Joseph August of Austria (1872-1962) who became "grandson-in-law" to old Emperor Francis Joseph and a general. He married Augusta of Bavaria whose mother was Archduchess Gisela of Austria, the eldest surviving daughter of late Empress Elisabeth ("Sisi"). The young couple's children, starting from Archduke Joseph Francis of Austria (1895-1957, emperor's great-grandson), were born already in great-grandfather's lifetime,"
