Birth and death dates

[edit]

When reading about Annette Vadim on the Internet, various web sites give different birth and death dates. I have put some work into resolving which ones are correct, and my conclusion is that the dates given in this article (Dec 7 1936 - Dec 12 2005) are indeed correct. This conclusion is based mainly on the Times obituary linked in this article, and a Danish newspaper funeral add, sent to me by the webmaster of Danish website [1]. /Dcastor 09:47, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move

[edit]

Annette VadimAnnette Strøyberg – Per a request at the help desk indicating that the obituaries in major publications used this name, however a variety of other publications seem to use Annette Vadim and a discussion appears to be called for.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 05:31, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Strøyberg acted in ten films and was only credited as Annette Vadim in two of them (the first two). She was credited by her real name, Strøyberg, in her last seven films before retiring from acting at the age of 28. This last name "Vadim" comes from her very brief (less than 2 years) marriage to Roger Vadim, and the only time her name hardly ever comes up is in publications about him. This is a very obscure subject (who probably doesn't even merit a Wiki page) but if there must be one it should at least get her name right. Kaynow5 (talk) 05:57, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
i havent looked deeply into it -just that first scan that pulled up the vampire movie hits- but from what I have seen at this time and from the comments by both @Jreferee: and @Kaynow5: above, i dont have any objections to the Annette Stroyberg move. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:42, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
