French Open as a Grand Slam tournament

"Best single season percentage"?

[edit]

Of what?

Tour only? Grand slam only? As it stands it's not clear. And that matters, since the page has sorted the stats according to what type. Problem is it is neither explained nor sourced so I can't immediately suggest to move it to which paragraph it belongs. As it stands it's surrounded by tables that are about not one or the other but both. And since the table itself isn't about both, it doesn't belong where it is. —Loginnigol 11:22, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

All-time tennis records – Women's singles#WTA Tier I, Premier Mandatory and Premier 5
The WTA 1000 tournaments (since 2021) are not included in this section. Is it intended that way for some reason? Miria~01 (talk) 16:09, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Very odd indeed. I at least expected to see a separate set of charts for the WTA 1000's but there is zippo. Fyunck(click) (talk) 18:27, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly, that would be my point of view too. Separately or all in one (then I would suggest just to transclude the tables of WTA 1000 Series singles records and statistics#Career totals).
But then the three titles between 1988 and 1989 WTA Tier I tournaments#Singles results would be missing for Steffi Graf. I'm also not sure why these titles are included here when it is not the case in WTA 1000 Series singles records and statistics.
The same also applies to Open Era tennis records – Women's singles#WTA Premier/Tier One (since inception in 1988), where the titles have been included since 1988. Miria~01 (talk) 19:17, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
