The article as it currently stands is of dubious quality.
'Royal Horse Guards' - who are they ? Not a regiment that's for sure - plus no horses are kept there or have been for years.
It IS 'Regents Park Barracks', so a rename is in order.
'there's a guard with a machine gun' - well big deal. If it is going to be mentioned, it's a semi-automatic rifle. Small point, but it is indicative of the poor quality of this article as a whole.

The Blues & Royals were gone by 1986. I worked at the barracks at that time & the only unit based there was 20Sqn RCT.
The barracks was used by other units, including the SAS & Gurkhas but only on an "as needed" basis. Oddbodkin (talk) 02:05, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
