Quote Attribution to Alanis Obosawin

[edit]

I am about to remove the dubious marking on the quote in the article. This appears to have been carefully investigated by Quote Investigator. It seems from (admittedly internet) references that I have found that the quote is correctly attributed to Obomsawin. It is implied that it is very possible, that it is based on an older saying however that however requires further sources more reputable than the ones Quote Investigator gives.

If someone disagrees with this please give a clear explanation why here on the talk page. StacksofHoy (talk) 14:05, 1 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

DoneI've done so. The attributed quote and the controversy over its attribution has been moved here. I simply don't see much benefit to the article to hosting this discussion over the quote's origins. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 13:56, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

Hi. I requested an assessment and see that it has been rated "Start." I would appreciate some comments on how to begin improving this article on Alanis. Or perhaps other more experienced Wiki users can show the way! Thanks, Shawn in Montreal 20:33, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
