"Turned down for spurious reasons"
[edit]"Spurious" seems rather POV without a reference. 86.149.133.252 (talk) 01:50, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
History
[edit]Are you sure, that the year "1881" in the part "History" is correct? with best wishes, Helge Wenzel —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.163.179.236 (talk) 08:18, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
Infobox
[edit]Shouldn't the infobox for this article be "Infobox Pub" rather than "Infobox terrorist attack"?
Obviously the bombing is the reason the pub is widely know, the most significant incident in it's history and the reason why it's notable and deserves an article (unlike many hundreds of other pubs in central London). However, the article is about the pub itself; its title is Admiral Duncan pub, not 1999 Bombing of the Admiral Duncan pub. It discusses the pub's name, its history, and more recent events such as the conflict with Westminster council over Pride flags.
Perhaps there's a case for a seperate article on Copeland's bombing campaign.Catsmeat (talk) 15:24, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
Manager?
[edit]Who was the manager of the bar at the time of the bombing? Mark Taylor or David Morley? The article lists both as being manager. Its not very clear. --76.105.145.143 (talk) 03:53, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
What's up with Dennis?
[edit]This article fails to state any connection between Dennis Collins and the Admiral Duncan. If there is no significant connection, delete this paragraph. Solo Owl 01:16, 26 March 2017 (UTC)

Standardisation
[edit]Proposing to ‘move’ so that the borough name is used in the title. This seems to be the standard.AlasdairDaw (talk) 17:45, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose There is no such standard. The current title is fine. Andrew🐉(talk) 22:04, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose Not needed. No such standard exists. AlasdairDaw should familiarise themselves with Wikipedia:Disambiguation. Edwardx (talk) 10:37, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Edwardx@Andrew Davidson
- Firstly apologies for creating such an unnecessarily large set of suggestions, so putting you to the trouble of replying to so many! And as you say, it was a big stretch to talk of an existing standard, more of an approach I’ve seen and like. Hardly a burning issue either.
- I’ll leave all these be. AlasdairDaw (talk) 17:20, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
