No consensus to move. Vegaswikian (talk) 19:23, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A Dog's DayPattiyude Divasam – The film was screened in Cannes and just for promotional purposes, the English title "A Dog's Day" was used. But the film was never dubbed and shown in English, nor any English versions of the film exists. This film is known with the name "Pattiyude Divasam" only. • Oppose Per naming conventions (film) and use English. As I've already stated, these are the policies on naming articles on the English-language WP. Ironically, the film poster you've uploaded weakens your arguement and gives strength to mine. Thanks. Lugnuts (talk) 14:01, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment Per WP:NCF, the title under which the film has been released in cinemas or on video in the English-speaking world should be used as the article title. But as I said, this movie was never released anywhere outside Kerala (where it was released with the title Pattiyude Divasam). The film was screened at Cannes, and for promotion purposes, the English transliteration of the original title was used. The film is actually never known by this English title. (Of course except some international media reviews that call this movie "A Dog's Day". But those reviews were published based on the Cannes screening). And I suggest you to see the caption of the poster. It was the promotional poster of the film at Cannes Film Festival. -- Arfaz (talk) 18:17, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
