April 2 commanders onboard

[edit]

I dont know how accurate that Gordon Smith book can be, but Adm Busser give his famous speech to the marines on the ARA Cabo San Antonio so its was not on D2 at the time --Jor70 (talk) 17:21, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[1] Citation doesn't support the claim, it may have become separated from its original position. Justin the Evil Scotsman talk 17:34, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Template

[edit]

Somewhat harsh to call the template "useless", a quick peek shows it is slightly better formatted IMHO. I'm going to revert and restore it for that reason. Justin talk 16:37, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The template was created specifically to ensure consistent formatting (image size, etc.) across all 18,000 articles that use {{Infobox ship career}}, and to meet WP:ACCESS guidelines for decorative images (specifically relating to alt text). Thanks for reverting back to the template version. — Andrwsc (talk · contribs) 21:26, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
