Merge

[edit]

This article should be merged with 81st Armored Brigade (United States) which is a more complete article.

It should probably retain this title, as "Heavy Brigade Combat Team" is the current nomenclature.Martin.duke (talk) 18:44, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Merged. All important info from that page is now here. -Ed! (talk) 21:31, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Companies of the 185th

[edit]

I have added several locations for the companies of the 185th. Most of the companies of the 185th have detachments that drill at armories other than their "main" one (such as HHC - it drills at both the Colton and San Bernardino armories). LukeFF (talk) 10:43, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Distinguished Unit awards

[edit]

As this is a NG unit, are the Distinguished unit awards state awards? The Distinguished Unit Citation was originally developed in WWII and became the Presidential Unit Citation (United States). Distinction is needed for this Distinguishment.--S. Rich 16:49, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

The Distinguished unit award received by A-Troop, 1/303rd CAV was in fact the Presidential Unit Citation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by OregonWrestling (talkcontribs) 21:40, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Major rewrite of history section

[edit]

Someone cut and pasted a large amount of text from globalsecurity.org into the History section. I've removed much of it and eliminated a lot of extraneous detail. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.76.32.208 (talk) 17:27, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
