Schedule

[edit]

Matchday 1 - 4 are in march and june, but nations league Playoffs are also at this time

in march

League A quarter-finals and

League A/B and B/C play-offs

in june

League A Finals

so there are 8 different Teams which could play in June, all from Pot 1. Not all of them could play in Goups of 4 Teams in qualification. so when will they play there qualification matches? Future-Trunks (talk) 05:47, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That is a question UEFA will answer when they release the draw results. Any attempt by editors to determine the schedule would be original research and disallowed on Wikipedia. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 23:40, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
agree, I also being confused.
UEFA should add pre-qualifier play-offs... Malelectrical (talk) 08:48, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I removed all the original researches.--Footy Tea (talk) 20:54, 12 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This paragraph should be removed : Nations League engagement: the 24 best teams participating in matchdays 7 and 8 of the 2024-25 UEFA Nations League will guarantee to be drawn into groups with only four teams (Groups A–F). This list includes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd classified teams in League A, 2nd and 3rd classified in League B, and 2nd classified ones in League C. Consequently, the six groups with five teams (Groups G-L) will be composed by the remaining 30 teams. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.153.232.233 (talk) 12:44, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Russia's status

[edit]

Hi @Cw131007 - you referenced a UEFA circular in your edit summary confirming Russia's suspension. Can you cite it in the article or add it here? I'm concerned that in it's current state, the article doesn't meet verifiability standards since we're not able to confirm the information comes from a reliable source. Wburrow (talk) 17:13, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Wburrow: That number is specifically stated in UEFA Circular Letter No64 Enclosure 2, Section A, paragraph 2. I will add the citation. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 17:21, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Russia (suspended) have to be listed anyway, despite the prose. People have to understand why. It is not correct to omit Russia at all. They are always a UEFA member. Russia (suspended) was left for Nations League entries, indeed. Island92 (talk) 18:38, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Island92: That makes sense. I'll move Russia to a pseudo-heading to separate them from the remaining entrants. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 18:50, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
