Describing which teams qualify based on results of earlier competitions

[edit]

I edited the TEAMS & QUALIFICATION section to make it more clear which teams from the earlier competions qualify. When regarding "and remaining two teams without ODI status as a result of the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off" I wasn't certain if I wanted to include how it was determined which of two of the six teams from that tournament would not have ODI status as a result. I commented out

", the two lowest ranked between the top two of the 2019-2022 ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League, Canada and Jersey, and the bottom two from the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2, United Arab Emirates and Papua New Guinea"

so we could easily uncomment it later if we decided it made it more clear. Fulner (talk) 18:48, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If Jersey wins and Canada loses the last match then both will end up with 4 points. In that case, whoever has better points will qualify for 2023–2027 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 Virander Sirohi (talk) 16:02, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
