Great start to the article! Glad to see you plan on creating article for the rest of OU's national championships. I have some general feedback for you that you can take and apply to this article and future articles you create. First off, and this is the biggest deal, this article, as long as it is, does not cite any sources. It is very important that you cite your sources as no original research is allowed on Wikipedia. (See WP:OR, WP:CITE, WP:V.) Next, per WP:MOS or more specifically WP:MOS-L, it is proper practice to only wikilink the first occurrence of something in the article. So if you mention Barry Switzer more than once in the article, you only wikilink the first time you mention Barry Switzer. Per WP:MOSHEAD, you only capitalize the first word in the section header, unless it is a proper noun. So instead of ==Season Recap==, you would use ==Season recap==. Also, I would not consider this article a stub by any stretch of the imagination. That is all I can think of right now. I suggest you read through some of those links as they will make you a much better and informed editor. Also, I fixed some issues with the schedule template and I left some advice in the edit summary. Lastly, I'm going to run a peer review script that identifies other issues with the article. It's typically ran when trying to get an article peer reviews, or upgraded to Good article or Featured article but you can at least see other MOS issues that typically occur. I'd love to have some much needed help improving these OU articles! Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.↔NMajdantalk 22:56, 13 February 2007 (UTC)anthony stafford[reply]

I have gone through and updated some of the references to make them more applicable/readable. I am looking for some media (images, etc.), to apply to this. I should have the roster updated by COB today.Desert sapper 15:27, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The image Image:OU-Logo.PNG is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

RE: Schedule & results

[edit]

Under the section "Schedule & results" it says:

"at Kansas"

And then says:

"Oklahoma Memorial Stadium • Norman, OK"

How can the game be "at" somewhere and then played at home?

2) The same goes for SMU.

3) For this one:

  1. 2 Nebraska, Memorial Stadium, Lincoln • Lincoln, NE

You indicate it is a home game, both in the list and in the text below under "Season recap" ("before playing host to Nebraska").

Is this sloppy work or what?

During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!
