A9X Torana

[edit]

Some of the A9X Toranas that ran in the 1979 Hardie were sedans rather than hatchbacks and were therefore SLR5000 A9Xs rather than as SS5000 A9Xs. Photos in Australian Motor Racing Year, 1979/80 show cars 14 & 11 to be sedans and Autopics (http://www.autopics.com.au/cache/list-409public__0-0.html?cache=no) shows that car 24 was also a sedan. Were the other A9Xs which are shown without “Hatchback” in the description also sedans? If so they also should be listed as SLRs. Cheers, GTHO (talk) 07:49, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Were the other A9Xs which are shown without “Hatchback” in the description also sedans?" - Yes. Refer the Autopics link for confirmation. Same as for 1978 Bathurst, although there is an LH still racing too. --Falcadore (talk) 08:13, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
