redundant really - the problem is the eds creating the article put the refs at the bottom of the art and didnt include them as in article cites - it just needs to be tied in with some judicious checking against which ref has the answer for the tags SatuSuro 01:06, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree and I've removed them. if the text says "according to McLeod", the logical thing to do is go down to the references section where you will find a work by McLeod. It could probably do with page numbers and the like, but I think the fact tags are redundant. Graham87 09:10, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
that was me who created the article with the references and sources listed at the bottom, and yes when it was created in 2006 was before inline citations became as important to Wikipedia policy and before my conversion to using inline citations for my contributions. I might find time in the future to add the inline citations to this article as I have a copy of McLeod's book. --Takver (talk) 12:40, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Expand on roles of Aboriginal Leaders

[edit]

I’ve been working on this page today. Adding in-line citations, rescuing dead links and adding new sources. I’ve really grown to admire the work of these activists. However, I’ve noticed that a lot of it focuses on the role of McLeod the white activist and doesn’t expand on the roles of Binbin, McKenna, and others. I aim to do this once I’ve finished with the in-line citations but I welcome help. Contrawwftw (talk) 11:17, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Contrawwftw and thanks for improving the article. I don't really have the time to devote to more research, but I did a bit of copyediting (mostly adding wikilinks) and added another name I came across in the process. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 08:39, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
