Re: Images

[edit]

I uploaded the image I would like to include with the article. The image is showing up as orphaned. Don't see a place to input a title for the image, or, how to put it into the article. Can someone please help me complete this process?

Thank you,

140th (Year?) Anniversary

[edit]

Did they really call it the "140th Year Anniversary", and not just "140th Anniversary"? Really? How dumb.

An anniversary is an inherently annual thing. The word is derived from the Latin word "annus", year (remember the Queen's "annus horribilis"?), making the word "year" redundant. What the hell is going on with the official dumbing down of our language? -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 20:36, 29 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
