Ambassador Menzies, the 16th president of Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa since 2002, will assume his new position with Seton Hall on 8 January 2007. |

Ambassador Menzies brings considerable skills and very wide and rich experience to us as the new Dean. After obtaining his doctorate from the University of California at Berkeley, he served for more than two decades in the U.S. Department of State, including a term as Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina and as Chief of Mission to Kosovo. In the early 1990’s Ambassador Menzies founded the American University in Bulgaria and was later a top adviser to the President and Secretary of State. He also has served with great distinction in higher education, bringing Graceland, a 110-year-old faith-based university, a new vision, successful fundraising and improved performance of the endowment. |
