Swiftcover or swiftcover.com is the only internet based insurance company in the UK. Because it doesn't have any call centres, its branded straplines are “click click not cluck cluck” and "No Clucking Call Centres".

Based in Send, near Guildford and employing over 200 people, swiftcover.com offers car, travel and pet insurance online.

This insurance provider has no call centres and sells all policies over the internet. The company focuses on low risk customers for all its insurance products (car, travel and pet insurance) and generally offers the cheapest policy prices in the UK.

swiftcover.com was started in 2004 by Andrew Blowers, former Executive Director of Churchill Insurance, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc.

swiftcover.com is particularly well known in the UK for its distinctive advertising, incorporating chickens working in call centres across its advertising.

swiftcover.com was acquired by AXA in December 2006.

As an online-only company, policy documents can be printed immediately, cutting out delays associated with posting documents.
