Santhosh Suvarna is an Indian high-stakes live tournament poker player and businessman,[1][2] the winner of the $250,000 Official High Stakes World Championship (World Series of Poker) ($5,415,152) (2024);[1][2][3][4] the third-place finisher of the $125,000 + 7,500 Inofficial High Stakes World Championship (Triton Super High Roller Series Monte Carlo Main Event) ($1,772,000) (2023);[1] and the first place finisher of the €50,000 Diamond High Stakes Championship (World Series of Poker Europe) ($695,291) (2023).[1][5]
As of September 2024, Suvarna's total live tournament winnings exceeds $14,400,000.[6] He rankes first among Indian poker players in regard to all-time winnings.[7]
$250,000 Official High Stakes World Championship
[edit]$250,000 Official High Stakes World Championship, often knowned as $250,000 No Limit Hold'em - Super High Roller (Bracelet Event #55), is a high-stakes no limit hold'em tournament held at the summer poker festival/championship World Series of Poker.[8]
Structure
[edit]The tournament starts with 300 big blinds with levels of 60 minute in length. It is played out with a big blind ante starting at 5,000 chips.[9]

The defending champion is Martin Kabrhel having defeated semi-professional poker player Sirzat Hissou in heads-up play.[14]
