Lyldoll

Shiloh (born April 25, 1993) is a Canadian pop singer and songwriter. Shiloh was born in Abbotsford, British Columbia. She signed to Universal Music in 2008 with plans to record her debut album for a 2009 release.[1] As a songwriter, Shiloh signed a worldwide co-publishing deal with Ole/Tanjola.[2]

Career

Shiloh has entered in many contests and competitions for singing, such as a radio contest for The Bounce (91.7 CHBN-FM) in Edmonton, Alberta in which she won, that helped her start her career in singing. Shiloh's first single is entitled "Operator (A Girl Like Me)" which charted on the Canadian Hot 100 and listed her as Billboard Canada's #1 Emerging Talent Artist as of December 19, 2008. [3] Operator (A Girl Like Me) is included on Much Dance 2009 CD. Shiloh has performed with Lady GaGa, Hedley, Theory of a Deadman, and Marianas Trench.

The music video for Shiloh's second single "Goodbye, You Suck" premiered on January 30, 2009. It debuted on the Canadian Hot 100 at 73, then fell off the charts the following week.

Shiloh's next single is entitled "Alright"; a music video was released on June 17, 2009. Her debut album is going to be released on August 18th, 2009 in Canada. It will be released later in the USA through Universal Republic.

Shiloh also released a single years before her debut which received airplay in Canada entitled "All I Want."

Shiloh appeared on Much On Demand on June 4, 2009 and performed "Goodbye, You Suck". She was a nominee for the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards as well as being an announced performer.[4][5] She performed "Operator (A Girl Like Me)" at the MuchMusic Video Awards on June 21, 2009 but lost in both categories she was nominated in: Pop Video of the Year and UR Fave: New Artist to Danny Fernandes and The Midway State.

She also appeared on YTV's The Zone segment and was interviewed by Carlos, answering viewer questions that had been submitted by e-mail and also performing. Shiloh recently released her debut album "Picture Imperfect" on August 18, 2009.

Shiloh's songs can be heard on Gossip Girl, Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief, Mr. Troop Mom and What Happens in Vegas.
