Sapient Gurgaon, India Office

Sapient Interactive offers interactive marketing and design services, web and interactive development, media planning and buying, campaign creation and development for mobile and emerging technologies and strategic planning and marketing analytics. It has creative studios and offices based in eight countries and 32 cities,[6] including Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, London, Munich, Amsterdam, Bangalore, Delhi, and Singapore. The interactive practice has grown out of Sapient’s 2006 acquisition of PGI, a Miami-based interactive agency.[7]

Today, Sapient is one of the world’s largest interactive agencies, ranked third by Advertising Age in April 2009, and was named the Top Interactive Agency in the UK by New Media Age two years running in 2007 and 2008.[8]

On June 17, 2009, the company acquired Nitro Group, a traditional global advertising agency that serves major clients such as Mars, ConAgra, Volvo, Nike and Foot Locker.[9] According to the Wall Street Journal, the deal "turn[s] the tables on the recent trend of traditional advertising agencies snapping up digital shop(s)." [10]

Sapient Consulting provides business and IT strategy, process and systems design, package implementation and custom development, as well as outsourcing services such as testing, maintenance and support.

The company also has a professional service practice focused on trading and risk management (TRM) providing business and technology consulting, process and operations management, and software development specifically for the trading and risk management industry. The Sapient TRM practice expanded when it acquired the London-based, privately-held Derivatives Consulting Group in August 2008. [11]

Sapient also provides consulting, technology and marketing services to government agencies. Established as an independent subsidiary in 2005, Sapient Government Services is located in Arlington, VA.

Sapient’s global clients include BP, Essent Energie, Hilton International, Janus, Sony Electronics, Verizon, Coke, UBS Investment Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Epson, British Council, News International, Telefonica-O2, Vodafone, Chevron, Citigroup, Merrill Lynch, Singapore Airlines, Sprint, Vertex, Target and federal government clients such as the United States Department of Homeland Security, United States Department of Justice, National Institutes of Health and Library of Congress.
