The '''Santa Ana Bulldogs FA''', also known as the Dawgs, are a Costa Rican [[American Football]] team based in Santa Ana, San Jose, Costa Rica. They are currently members of FEFACR (American Football Federation of Costa Rica) for its acronym in Spanish. They are currently The Three-times champion on the league. The team, joined the FEFACR in 2008 being one of the league founders. The dawgs just earned their 3rd Costa Rica Super Bowl in a row (April 28, 2012<ref>[http://news.co.cr/costa-rica-super-bowl-iv-tonight-cuty-monge-stadium-desamparados/5741/] IV Costa Rica Super Bowl</ref>) and its currently the title holder on best defense and offense on the league.

== Uniform ==

The Bulldogs wear 2 uniforms, their helmets are navy blue with a B on it (for Bulldogs), their home jersey is navy blue with white and gold numbers with white pants and navy blue socks.

For their away games, they usually wear their second uniform, which consists on the same navy blue helmet, but with a whole white uniform, with navy blue and gold numbers and navy blue socks.

All these characteristics come to mind when I think of the ideal football player and what it means to have the opportunity of participating in this wonderful sport.

At Big Papi Bulldogs we are honored to be associated with this franchise as the official team mascot. During the 2010 Season we initiated the first steps of what we hope to be a long tradition of Big Papi Bulldog mascots with the team. Our very own MULTI CH Buster Big Papi, also known as Big Papi I was chosen as the first of many to come and is the proud owner of a record that will be hard to break as the team went 11-0 during his participation as team mascot, including 1 Championship (OT thriller to conclude a perfect season) and 1 International victory.

Buster is officially retired and is leaving the path open for his son Bigpapibull Krenshaq to carry the responsibility as team mascot and continue the legacy and family tradition as Big Papi II.

And so the journey for excellence in the path of glory will be taken by the next of the chosen and it is he who will now carry the burden and the honor that is his birth right.}}
