Sadda Haq – My Life My Choice (English : My Rights - My Life, My Choice) is an Indian television series that premiered on 25 November 2013 on Channel V. Sadda Haq follows a female student at a prestigious engineering college, where she subsequently confronts varied stereotypes and prejudices.

Plot summary P1

The protagonist, Sanyukta Agarwal, hails from a conservative family in Delhi dreams of becoming a mechanical engineer & work in her father's automobile company. She gains admission to FITE, Roorke, the best engineering college in India where she meets another protagonist Randhir Singh Shekhawat, topper of the entrance examination, a sheer genius in the field of engineering who thinks that girls are incapable to study mechanical engineering(ME) & they are only fit for studying in CSE & IT streams or being a homemaker,the perfect place for women & from here onwards Sanyukta slowly starts to prove him & the male dominated society rather the MCP's wrong & shows the dynamic strength of women rather women empowerment.

Randhir & Sanyukta are forced to be partners in a lab project. She later deliberately causes an explosive blast, so that in the aftermath, her father Kishore Agarwal and elder brother Ankit Agarwal who don't even in their dreams want her to become an engineer cannot remove her or cancel her admission from the college. Randhir fails to get a seat for his childhood friend & temporary roommate Karan in FITE due to Sanyukta & Karan had to leave FITE.

Sanyukta's struggling journey in college revolves around her hatred and competition with Randhir & the male dominated society, her friendships with Kaustuki her roommate and bestie, Jignesh shy & an intelligent techie & Randhir's roomate, Sahil an introvert, Yo-Yo a senior who fails in the semester exams thus became their batchmate, Nikhil Yo-Yo's roommate & Vidushi her roommate who always believes in shortcut methods to win & the proverb "money talks" too becomes a friend of hers much later & most importantly her being the member & performer in the "FITE Dream Team" mentored by Prof. Vardhan Suryavanshi for each & every batch of FITE for participating in the inter college fest events each year & international fest event in their final year.

First inter college fest unfolds Prof. Vardhan's past life which introduces his batchmates, Prof. Kabir mentor of CITE college and Niharika. Parth matured & protective who was the student of CITE joins FITE & becomes the roomate of Randhir and makes friendship with Sanyukta and her friends. Randhir & Parth's past & personal life slowly gets unfolded too introducing Renuka Sanyal head trustee of FITE & Randhir's mother, Harshvardhan Shekhawat Randhir's father, Arpita Parth's dead girlfriend & Inspector Hooda Parth's childhood rivalry who gatecrashes FITE & arrests Parth by bringing up false accusations on him.

Parth gets bail with the help of his FITE friends & Inspector Hooda gets suspended. Sanyukta gets to know Randhir's actual character, he helps her in difficult times, she too grooms him & they slowly becomes friend. Sanyukta's mother Anju Agarwal always supports her every step that she takes & helps her to overcome them.

Plot Summary P2

In midst of all this, Sanyukta's father arranges her marriage with Sameer Mittal. She tries many times to cancel the marriage but fails. Randhir finds out his parents are filing for a divorce. Randhir finally confesses his love to Sanyukta while he is drunk. Sanyukta begins to realize that she is in love with Randhir. Sanyukta's engagement gets fixed. Randhir gets furious at Sanyukta as she had been lying to him about that. He comes to her house to break her engagement. Sanyukta becomes very angry with him. Randhir comes again to ask for forgiveness. Jignesh & Kaustuki became the love birds but Kaustuki loves Yo-Yo more than Jignesh, a love triangle thus developed.

Sanyukta gets back to the college and their rivalry continues. Sanyukta gets sick during the Final Exams. Randhir makes a plan to help her.

Mittals asks for the dowry and Mr. Agarwal decides to put Sanyukta's FD in Sameer's name but she does the wrong signature. He puts their house in mortgage. Sanyukta gets to know all about this.

Kaustuki leaves FITE. Jignesh & Yo-Yo became sad hearing the news.

Second inter college fest unfolds yet again Prof. Vardhan's personal life introducing his batchmate Prof. Maya Raichand & Prof. S Rao. Dean of FITE goes behind bars & Prof. PKC, the experienced prof. of FITE becomes the temporary Dean.

Prof. Maya Raichand becomes the new dean of FITE. Meanwhile, Randhir's parents divorce case makes Randhir very tensed. He goes to Sanyukta, everyone sees him and questions. Sanyukta threatens them to give the money back or she'll file a dowry case on them. She confesses she loves Randhir and also breaks her engagement.

Sanyukta's family arranges her marriage with Guptas but Vardhan comes and helps her to leave them and come back. Randhir and Sanyukta confess their love but still cannot be in a relationship. Sanyukta left her house to achieve her dreams.

Sanyukta finds that Parth has a nerve disorder and how Vidushi helped him financially. Renuka organizes YSA. Randhir threatens Sanyukta not to take part and he'll arrange both of their fees. Maya, the Dean, is struggling with her husband. Vardhan suggests a divorce. After a lot of deliberation and learning about how Sanyukta left her house for her dreams, she files for a divorce.

Sanyukta and Randhir both participate in the YSA and make it to the final round. Sanyukta's prototype works, and Roshan Bajaj, Renuka's boyfriend, is pleased with her innovation and congratulates her while keeping his hand on her shoulder. Randhir sees it and loses his temper completely.

Sanyukta wins the YSA. Renuka, mother of Randhir has a heart to heart conversation with him, and wants him to understand her need for love. Maya wants to expel Randhir, but Renuka insists that he should be allowed to continue his education, and Maya suspends him for a week.

Plot Summary P3

Sanyukta ultimately proposes to Randhir and they get into a sweet relationship. Sanyukta is unable to pay the hostel fees and had to live in a PG with an MCP neighbour Shaurya. She starts working in Vikram Thanvi's coaching class to earn money for the fees where she meets Priyali receptionist of the coaching institute,later became her student & Rajveer an arrogant egoistic student. Her mother comes to know that she is staying in a PG & also comes to know her relationship with Randhir when she comes to stay with her in the PG. She later meets Randhir personally. Meanwhile, Prof. PKC's long ago unfinished drone project becomes successful with the help of the Dream Team & they saves him from getting sacked by Maya from FITE.

Randhir's mother Renuka gets married to Roshan and then enters Rehan Bajaj, Randhir's stepbrother, and both were jealous & vows to destroy each other. Randhir decides that he and Sanyukta will join Renuka's company to destroy it. Sanyukta refuses as she wants to work in her father's company. This leads to a rift between them. Randhir decides to have a fake affair with Rehan's girlfriend Ishika and goes to the extent of kissing her. It is witnessed by Sanyukta and she confronts Randhir and he pushes her. This leads to their tearful breakup. Later Rehan just gives a cruel smile at Randhir after knowing the affair between his gf & Randhir.

Meanwhile, Prof. Maya was forced to leave FITE & Prof. Kabir becomes the new Dean of FITE & he appoints suspended inspector Hooda came to be known by the name Rana as the head secruity officer in charge of FITE. Rana operates a pre planned drug racket inside FITE & starts including some students of FITE in this system by addicting them to drugs for money & thus started using those students to prepare drugs & they were getting huge ammount of money after the sale of this drugs. He had loaded guns with him too.

Except the students whom he included in this racket nobody in FITE came to know about his drug racket operation. On the other hand Kabir wanted to extract some important files which only Vardhan knew about. A journalist named Arpita comes to FITE to make a documentary & makes friendship with the Dream team members & all the students, Vardhan calls her to sort out the differences among all his Dream team students & to build up a trust among them before going to the International event fest.

Last year of engineering coming to an end, Dream team becomes ready to participate in the international fest event. Internship Programme already started, Sanyukta faces huge competition from Raghu and Kunal. Meanwhile Randhir attempts to destroy Renuka by making a machine defective but its installation is stopped by Sanyukta at the last moment. Enraged by this Randhir convinces Sanyukta's father to hire him with an intention of making Sanyukta's internship tough. Foreman Mishra leaves & new Foreman Vikram Thakur takes charge of the internship programme. Sanyukta's mother comes to know all about it & dislikes Randhir.

Between the ongoing programme Rehan takes a revenge against Randhir indirectly by poisoning Sanyukta inside a closed car but Randhir saves her. Sanyukta struggles a lot throughout the internship programme. She tries to overcome the male dominated company to win the heart of her father & to make her dream come true by proving her capability without knowing that she was only fighting with her father's ego & fails against her father's ego. Mr. Agarwal executes a master stroke plan using Randhir as a pawn which mentally forces her to leave her engineering course. Randhir just stands there & grieves.

Plot Summary P4

During the ongoing internship Jignesh suicides due to the reason of getting addicted to drugs which unconciously forces him to molest a junior student of FITE named Aster who later became Yo-Yo's girlfriend. Jignesh's death gives Yo-Yo a big shock & to divert his own mind unknowingly he joins the drug racket operating by Rana & slowly becomes the right hand of Rana. Parth & Vidushi's internship was in the same company, they were in a complicated relationship & suddenly Vidushi's past gets unfolded introducing Varun as her ex-husband. Parth helps her to come out from her deadly past life.

Parth comes to know all about Rana's operation, he succeds in taking out Yo-Yo from the racket & informs it to Randhir. They makes a plan to destroy Rana's operation & calls the police for producing him to them red handed. That very day Sanyukta goes to college & fills up the cancellation form of FITE & submits it. Vardhan protests it strongly but fails & both of them in anger breaks the car into parts which she with her Dream Team mates built for the international fest event.

Sanyukta, Vidushi, Sahil comes to know all about the operation of Rana from Randhir & Parth & helps them to destroy Rana's operation, Police inspector with his force comes near the gate of FITE but the plan fails. Rana comes to know about their plan to destroy his operation & thus captures all the students & Arpita & locks them in the rooms of the college & blackmails the police inspector to kill each of the students if he & his gang are not freely made way to escape with loads of drugs & money. He puts time bomb on the wrist of each students & also wires the whole building. Vardhan & Kabir enters the college secretly & tries to save the students from the hands of Rana, deactivates some bombs but fails at last, Rana captures them too.

Rana kills Ishika. He shoots Vardhan but Randhir saves him & gets severely injured, using engineering tools Sanyukta somehow heals Randhir, he tells her that he is responsible for her failure in the Internship programme & not she, this makes Sanyukta strong again but she continues healing Randhir, Police force & Army makes all the preparation for Rana & his gang to move out freely when they failed capturing Rana, some students escaped. Kabir was shot in the arm by Rana. Vardhan makes his last attempt to save his students the moment when Rana activates all the bombs & was escaping but Rana shoots him.

Vardhan gets killed. Rana escaped but his car exploded suddenly. Sanyukta & his Dream Team mates diffuses all the bombs.

Family members of the students who surrounded FITE gates & saw the whole incident through a reporter's lens whom Rana allowed to enter met them at the hospital after everything was over. They all recovered from injuries. Everyone mainly the Dream Team was in a shock & deeply pained for the sudden demise of Vardhan, they couldn't accept his demise specially Sanyukta. Kabir was too in a shock & he leaves FITE.

Plot Summary P5

Prof. Eklavya Roy becomes the new Dean of FITE & tries all possible ways to bring the environment of FITE to normal. He includes Azaan a new member in place of Sanyukta in the Dream Team but the Dream team members says "no Vardhan sir, No Dream Team", even Arpita tried but failed to bring the Dream Team to normal & leaves FITE. Sanyukta & Randhir's relationship became complicated. Somehow Eklavya & PKC brings the Dream Team to normal even appoints Prof. Vivek Chauhan a drunkyard the new mentor of the Dream Team but the Dream Team members makes him to resign as the mentor of the Dream Team after a competition. Meanwhile, Sanyukta's mother Anju also leaves her house & stays with Sanyukta in Randhir's owned flat which her mother don't know. Everything slowly comes to normal & suddenly FITE looses it's accreditation, means the college is going to shut down but the Dream Team saves FITE from shutting down.

Abhay Singh Ranawat another drunkyard appointed as the new mentor of the Dream Team through PKC's request & he is the only one who can actually groom the Dream Team to make them participate in the International fest which will be held in UK. He is on his way building up trust among the members of the Dream Team. Sanyukta's mother is being forced to do various tests by a Doctor named Dhruv Singhania when she suddenly looses her sense in the middle of the road. Sanyukta comes to know about it & visits the doctor but she gets no reply from him. Meanwhile, Randhir after a long time gets a call from his childhood friend Karan & he needs help to prevent him from the brother of his girlfriend so that he could easily run away with her girlfriend & marry her.
