Putri Syaliza

Putri Syaliza Sazali (born 17 March 2003) is a Singaporean footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Oakland Golden Grizzlies.

Youth Career

In 2017, Putri single handedly cliched the 'C' Division Girls football title for Queensway Secondary School by scoring 42 goals in 7 games. [1]

College Career

In 2021, Syaliza joined Cumberland University in the United States, but was unable to play for the team due to matriculation issues.[2] She transferred to Eastern Florida State College, helping the team win its first-ever National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I National Championship.[3]

Club Career

In 2022, Syaliza signed for Thai side Chonburi, becoming the first Singaporean women's footballer to play in Thailand.

International Career

At the age of fourteen, Syaliza debuted for the Singapore women's national football team, where she scored during a 2–0 win over the Maldives, becoming the youngest debutant and scorer in Singaporean football.[4]

Syaliza played in the SEA Games for Singapore.

Personal life

Syaliza has three siblings and her mother has worked as a bus driver.[5]
