He took part in television reality program Tamil Pechu Engal Moochu aired in Star Vijay, and he shot to fame where he gained breakthrough by being adjudged as the title winner in its second season during the 2008–09 season.[2][3] His participation in Tamil Pechu Engal Moochu is where his prowess and his profound Tamil oratory skills were elevated on full swing.[4] He has also participated as a speaker in typical pattimandram debate programmes which are often telecast in satellite television channels coinciding with the theme of popular religious festivals.

He worked as a channel director of YouTube channel Put Chutney and he later founded its sister YouTube channel Tamil Vanakkam. He was recognised as the face of the Put Chutney YouTube channel for his abilities to demonstrate political satire comedy sequences in the videos while also pitching content by providing thought provoking ideas on the realism of political landscape in Tamil Nadu.[5] One of his notable video contents which he uploaded in Put Chutney tackled the subject matter pertaining to the political blame game between the two southern Indian states Tamil Nadu and Karnataka which was on the peak surrounding around the 2018 Tamil Nadu protests for Kaveri water sharing.[4] In 2018, Telugu actor, Vijay Devarakonda collaborated with Rajmohan for a quirky sneakpeak promotional video ahead of the former's theatrical release of political action drama film NOTA which was unveiled in the Put Chutney YouTube channel.[6]

He also had stint as a judge and as a mentor in standup comedy oriented show Comicstaan Semma Comedy Pa which was a Tamil version of the original version of Hindi-language comedy show Comicstaan.[2] During the onset of the peak COVID-19 pandemic, he switched his focused on activism by launching a YouTube channel specially dedicated towards the college students whose studies were impacted by the global pandemic.[2] He began the YouTube channel with the aim of conveying the prevalence of the most pressing social issues and documenting them in a simple and in a convenient style by adapting the routine conversation style.[2]

He made his film acting debut in Dhanush starrer Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 (2017). He had a prominent role in Hiphop Tamizha's sports drama film Natpe Thunai, where he featured as a close friend of Harish Uthaman as the latter portrayed the role of a field hockey team coach. Rajmohan's acting in Natpe Thunai was deemed a decent performance where he channeled the mannerism of a corrupt sports director who even went to the extent of cheating his own friend, eventually backstabbing him for the sake of earning commission by doing tasks to please the parties with vested interests. He also featured as an actor in supporting roles in Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja (2019), Marina Puratchi (2019) and Naan Sirithal (2020).[7]

He made his directorial debut with the film Baba Black Sheep (2023), which was opened to mixed to negative reviews criticising the outdated storyline and illogical scenarios about the school life where the screenplay was criticised for lacking the emotional depth in fulfilling the weight of expectations despite an ambitious efforts to showcase the struggles of schoolboys and schoolgirls.[8][9]
