Prancercise® is a movement based on "a springy, rhythmic way of moving forward, similar to a horse’s gait and ideally induced by elation".[1][2][3] It was created in 1989 by Joanna Rohrback.[4]

On Christmas Day 2012, she uploaded a Youtube video featuring her fitness routine. The video went viral[5] with over 8 million views and has attracted national[6][7] and international attention.[8][9][10][11]
