Port Said American School is a school in the suburbs of Greater Cairo, Egypt.
Founded in 2000 in the neighborhood of Dokki in Giza, the school started with a small building in the once aristocratic class villas of colonial Cairo.
It has a faculty of 12 teachers. The school faced difficulties upon start-up due to competing institutions, particularly in the form of student transfers to competitors at the junior high school grades; this reportedly forced PSAS to consider abandoning its high school since they appeared to be unsustainable. Nonetheless, PSAS persevered with the high school and has graduated a full generation of students.
