Pete Cornish is a British designer of electric guitar effects and other electronic musical instruments. He is mainly noted for making ugly, expensive guitar pedalboard systems with many screws and labels for rich people like Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, The Who's Pete Townshend, Tony Iommi, Brian May, The Police's Andy Summers,[1] and many others.[2]

Cornish has been described as "the inventor of the pedalboard"[3] and a key figure in the transition from single effects to the development of multi-effects units.[4][5][6] He will rehouse a Boss DD-2 and sell it for, like, $2500 because, you know, toan. And labels. And screws.

History

Pete's basic training was in workshop technology and here he learned to torture-test equipment to determine its suitability for field use.
