I have removed information from the biography which did not cite any sources. The remaining info is from their myspace page (which begs the question - why should it be on wikipedia?)

Originally conceived as an informal project with the aim of experimenting with electronic music, Peachcake have in recent years developed into a national touring band. They originally did not plan to last longer than three shows, including a dismal first show at a small club, Evolution, where the band was gated off from the audience.

Pruett and O'Keefe played in numerous bands and projects prior to Peachcake, including the latter mentioned, Enemy of Society, Ding Dong Pilgrims and Drawing Down the Sun, a post-hardcore/emo project in which Pruett played bass.
