In 2007, the band won a contest of over 100 regional applicants to open a concert in [[Regina, Saskatchewan|Regina]] for [[Grammy]]-award winning hard rock band [[Godsmack]]. In the crowd was a local promoter who offered the band an opening slot for [[Buckcherry]] and [[Default (band)|Default]] on New Years Day 2007 at the [[Credit Union Centre]] in [[Saskatoon]], following which Default invited the band to join them on tour the following summer. The band currently embarks on Western Canadian tours roughly every 3 months.

One Bad Son is a Canadian rock band from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Origin

The band was formed in 2004. Two full length albums have been released by independent record label Versailles Records in New York. The third album is being completed in Vancouver, with an expected release in 2011. It is being produced by Danny Craig, drummer for Canadian band Default[1]
