The 1st Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Auditorio Benito Juárez, Zapopan, Jalisco on November 13, 1994. Thirty-two contestants competed for the national title, which was won by Luz María Zetina from Estado de México, who later competeted in the 1995 Miss Universe pageant. Zetina was crowned by Sushmita Sen, Miss Universe 1994 from India.

The event was hosted by host & producer Raúl Velasco and host & actress Liza Echeverría, Nuestra Belleza Mexico 1994 was broadcast live on Televisa.

  • Luz Elena González (Jalisco) is a Mexican actress known for her roles in Telenovelas.
  • Verónica Jaspeado (Tlaxcala) is a Mexican actress, voice actress and singer.
  • Amina Blancarte (Sinaloa) a year later in 1995 was appointed by the organization of Nuestra Belleza México to go to the first international competition Nuestra Belleza Internacional held in Miami, Florida, USA to be crowned the first place, becoming the first Nuestra Belleza Internacional, although two years later this event disappeared.
