New Device is a UK based Rock band established in late 2007. The bands style is rooted in classic rock of the 80s, influenced by the giants such as Aerosmith, Skid Row, Metallica and Guns N' Roses.[1][2] The album "Takin' Over" was released on Powerage Records in July 2009.[3] The band to date has played at Download Festival 2009[4][5] and Sonisphere Festival 2009[6] the band have also been introduced by Kerrang! magazine in their introducing section[7]. The band did their first UK tour as a unit in late 2009 with Gun, Heavens Basement and Dear Superstar.[citation needed]
