The league is composed of two teams for intra-league play, and an all-star travel team that competes with other leagues in the surrounding area. Founded in 2007 as '''Skate Free or Die Rollergirls''', the league changed it's name, when a copy-cat league started up in the same town, to keep it's integrity as NH's Roller Derby founders. They then changed their A-Team name to '''Skate Free or Die!''' as a nod to their original name. Along with the fun counter culture and hard hitting action that comes along with Roller Derby, the team members for NH Roller Derby revel in the fact that they can effect their community positively and give all their proceeds to charity. Their "Not For Profit" business goals include charitable donations of money and appearances. The girls pride themselves in being positive role models and members of the community. |
