Nasim Fekrat نسیم فکرت is a freelance journalist, photographer and blogger who is a winner of awards from Reporters Sans Frontieres and Information Safety and Freedom, is the editor of the Afghan Lord blog and a political science student at Dickinson College. He is also the director of the Association of Afghan Blog Writers (AABW). Nasim’s work has appeared on BBC Persian[1], CNN [2], Foreign Policy Magazine[3], his own news sites, and publications run by both NATO and the United Nations. As the leader of a small movement of young journalists advocating for free press in Afghanistan.
Developing Blogging and Online Journalism
Nasim has developed Blogging in Afghanistan. Since 2006, he has been running blogging workshops for Kabul University students and journalists all around Afghanistan. In summer 2009, he ran several blogging and online journalism workshops with the help of U.S embassy in Kabul and Association of Afghan Blog Writers in Helmand, Herat, Bamiyan, Jalalabad and Kunduz. see the source here

Currently, Nasim is studying at Dickinson College in Carlisle Pennsylvania.
