New map to reflect changes since Ukrainian administrative reform in July 2020[edit]
Since the Ukrainian parliament approved the 2020 administrative reform in July 2020, most raions in the country has been abolished, and the administrative borders redrawn (hence the name). The law that the parliament passed included provisions towards Crimea, as it considers the peninsula de jure Ukrainian territory. However, since the Ukrainian government has never de facto controlled the peninsula due to Russian occupation, the provisions for administrative reform has to date not yet been implemented, and the Russian authorities continue to use the pre-2020 administrative borders. As of now, currently existing political maps of Crimea in Wikipedia (at least all that I have seen and found) follows this old administrative division, and it would be beneficial to have a second map that reflects this Ukrainian administrative reform. Update: I have a found a single image of Crimea with the reformed divisions (File:Crimea AR regions 2020.png) and have already added it to the template page.
While it is useful already as-is, there could perhaps be improvements to make it become more suitable for widespread use among articles. Here are two main characteristics that I would consider as significant:
a) retains the pre-reform boundaries as well as the new boundaries, since the Russian authorities in Crimea continue to use the old divisions (similar to Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts)
