Modbury High School is a state school in the north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide, bordered by the primary school Modbury South. The school was opened in 1965 to cater for the large population increase in the area.

In the mid 1980's, the school had a collective fundraiser to raise money to construct the gymnasium that is shared with Modbury South, and is prominent at the entrance to the school. The gymnasium is used for both school sports and school assemblies.

Modbury High School also has a very successful sports programme, having been the successful champions for what is now the 8th year running at Santos Stadium.
